Gábor Tatai: Content, Visitor Management and Technology – Determining the Level of Harmony.Case study on the opening of the Parliament Museum

It is a rare occasion if one can participate in the creation of an entirely new museum from planning to opening.

The Parliament Museum was opened in 2015 after more than two years of planning, development and preparation. The exhibition includes several state-of-the-art audiovisual components in order to make the difficult subject of the museum - The 1000 Years of Hungarian Legislation - digestible and even enjoyable for the visitors. The project inherently contained several challenges that had to be dealt with by the developers and the museum staff. A framework helping the analysis and optimization of the level of harmony of the content, the visitors logistics and the technology will be demonstrated. The Parliament Museum will be used as a demonstration and case study.
