Webinar: From Museum Education to Public Engagement - Trends and practices in European museums

One of the biggest challenges museums face nowadays has to do with the increased number and variety of activities addressed to the public, or, better, to the publics. The concept of audience development translates into the numerous practices museums put into place in order to satisfy the needs both of the audience and of the funders. The term public engagement - as opposed to education – therefore better reflects what museum educators currently do.

The new NEMO webinar will look at this shift, using examples and case studies from different institutions in Europe.
