Stéphane Bezombes: Digital design and audience engagement strategy

The digital enhancement of cultural heritage is the result of a history that began in the mid 1970s and continue to accelerate during the last 10 years.

Nowadays, the stakeholders of digital transformation in museums have acknowledged more or less difficulties to keep pace with the digital skills and mobile practices of visitors. But museums needs long term vision, not only just-in-time projects. Organizations need to establish new strategy to emerge, develop, capture and disseminate best digital interpretation project, and arouse sustainable cultural interpretation. With some examples, we will try to illustrate the digital transformation of cultural interpretation factories and the visitors behaviors in new tracks.
